My husband and I chose a Touch of Elegance to assist in organizing our big fat Punjabi wedding (620 guests) on Long Island, NY in July 2018. From the days leading up to our 2 events (Mendhi and Baraat) and the days of, Mala and her team were sure to assist with a wide range of organization. First and foremost, Mala is extremely kind, caring, helpful, and dilligent. She lent advice during times of stress (i.e., jewelry malfunctions) and during times of happiness! She was also always sure to remind me to stay hydrated during the summer heat, she does not miss a beat! To get more into detail, Mala and her team assist in developing a smooth and seamless timeline, to ensure all aspects of the events run ON TIME! Now, we all know how most South Asian weddings can be with timeliness, and that was my biggest concern. I refused to enter into my wedding at 10pm, and Mala made sure of that! Also, Mala and her team (Dylan, Jackie, and 2 others who’s names I cannot remember at the moment) made sure to keep all 30 of our groomsmen, bridesmaids, AND over 50 family members up to speed regarding the schedule, and helped prepare bridal/groom parties and immediate family members to line up for entrances. This all seems like so much, right? Well, they did MORE! For about a month or so, Mala was reaching out to vendors via phone and email to confirm bookings and to obtain information regarding any of their requests (i.e., tablecloths, tables etc) required for their setup. This helped avoid any issues/miscommunications on the day of the events. Looking back at our events, I truly am grateful for everything Mala and her team did to ensure our day was beyond special and ran according to schedule. Frankly, I’ve lost count of how many people have called/reached out to me telling me how smooth and seamless our wedding was! Thank you again Mala and everyone at Touch of Elegance events for all of your support throughout our events. Your team truly added more than just a touch of elegance to our events, and we are so glad to have had you as a part of our special days! – Anum
