Our wedding was AWESOME and went on without a hitch—we owe it all to Mala. From the start our wedding planning seemed to be a challenge since we were restricted on time and geographical location. But it turned out to be less stressful than we had first thought. Mala met with us and outlined what we needed to do and think about etc. Things you won’t even realize you have to decide! She was truly fantastic on a professional as well as personal level. I have no idea if anything went “wrong” the day of the wedding because Mala and her assistant Erica took care of everything! She worked in union with all the other vendors and organized everyone. That’s the best part…not having to deal with any issues the day of! Now the planning part was brilliant. We basically told her what our styles were and what we wanted and she made suggestions based on that (and also after getting to know us). She has very good taste in décor and is knowledgeable in all the ins and outs of chairs, tables, types of tents…etc. We even had an issue with our initial florist and she turned around (two weeks before the wedding!) and got us a new florist who was fantastic and cheaper than our initial troublesome florist. Beautiful flowers! There were several other things that I really appreciated about Mala: her fine attention to detail, organizational skills, and I felt like I could get in touch with her basically 24/7! She always responded to emails and texts. Very punctual and even post wedding day was helpful in wrapping up some things and checking in on how we were doing. Mala was also very sensitive and accommodating to our concerns about my mother (with terminal cancer at the time). During the planning period and post—always asking about how my mother was in a very compassionate, empathetic way. It was important to me and I really appreciated it because as our Wedding Planner she simply didn’t have to do those things and could have been strictly professional but she decided to be human which I feel is reflective of her good character. I highly recommend Mala to any couple that needs some organization, advice in wedding planning and definitely, hands down for the day of! She is reliable, trustworthy, dependable and brilliant at her craft! Thank you Mala!
